About Me

Hi!

My name is Jenny and I decided to set this service up having seen the need that exists for support and care for pets, including for the more “quirky” dogs, which is very close to my heart.

If you are reading this and are anything like me, my pets are my world and therefore ensuring they are in safe hands is of paramount importance. It is important to know who is behind the brand so here is a summary of my background.

I was brought up on a working cattle and sheep farm nestled in the valleys. It was then it really all began. From sneaking home orphaned lambs, rejected calves, poorly farm kittens and various wildlife that needed a helping hand (once even a Barn Owl!); to working the sheep dogs and helping with their training… it was inevitable that I would end up committed to animal welfare.

Owning horses and competing most weekends whilst still helping on the farm I applied and got into university to study Veterinary Nursing. During my time there I met so many life long friends! (Many now head nurses and working in top referrals all over the UK!) After spending a year working in practice life took a different direction…

Moving away from the farm, having my daughter, my wonderful Staffordshire Bull Terrier Roxy plus of course my horses, fish, guinea pigs and gerbils, chickens and ducks… I decided to broaden my skill set further working within aquatics.

I have also joined the French Bulldog for a Charity called FLOOF (For The Love Of Our Frenchies) having adopted dogs that were misunderstood I then joined the rescue Foster Team being on call to support other foster families with quirky dogs.  I also continued to take in foster dogs that need some extra help.

As you can see, I have dedicated my life to animals irrespective of shape, size or behaviour and welcome the opportunity of assisting with the welfare and care of your beloved pet(s).
